STEAM Innovation Expo/KIDSFEST

We are thrilled the UNC Charlotte STEAM Expo as part of the 2024 NC Science Festival is back! In 2019 we hosted over 10,000 people on campus. The 2024 Expo will be Sunday, April 14, from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm.  Our event, the UNC Charlotte STEAM Expo, will take place on the UNC Charlotte quad between Mebane Hall (Cato College of Education), the College of Health and Human Services Building, Barnhardt Student Activities Center, and Woodward Hall. 

The UNC Charlotte Center for STEM Education, other UNC Charlotte STEAM departments, and community stakeholders facilitate events focused on fun and interactive science learning opportunities. Through hands-on activities, science talks, lab tours, nature experiences, exhibits and performances, the UNC Charlotte STEAM Expo engages a wide range of public audiences while inspiring future generations.
